βSeason Summary:β
βThe boys went 7-2 in the 2021/2022 season, this season was a challenge in many aspects including covid obstacles that went throughout the entire team at given times. The boys showed great determination and work ethic for the KASSAA season and finished with a very strong record. Many games this season were played without very limited senior players, leaving the juniors to step up to the challenge. βThe boys started their playoffs strong with a win in the quarter finals 4-1 against SHS, moving on to the semis they matched up with KSS and defeated them 5-3 in a tough battle start to finish. The boys capped off their great season with a KASSAA finals win infront of a capacity crowd of supporters with a win 4-1 vs FSS. The first year back to playing High School sports was an interesting but also incredible experience, the boys had an amazing year and ultimately took home the big prize.

Roster:
This season the boys went 7-2 in KASSAA play. They went 5-1 in regular season play and 2-1 in the playoffs; after a tough KASSAA final defeat to La Salle. The Crusaders finished in a three way tie for first with FSS and LSS as each school concluded the regular season with a record of 5-1, but fortunately the Crusaders came out as the top seed. The boys won there quarter final game against BSS in nail biting fashion, narrowly winning in a shootout. In the semi's the boys played a solid all around game defeating NDSS 3-1. For the 10th time in 11 years the Crusaders would be back fighting for KASSAA gold in the finals and playing LSS for the third year in a row. Unfortunately the Crusaders lost 3-0 in a game filled with missed opportunities, but there season was not over as LSS is a AA school and the Crusaders are AAA. The Crusaders traveled to Barrie to compete at OFSAA for the 8th time in 11 years. The boys went into the tournament as the 8th seed. The first game of the tournament the Crusaders played the Sacred Heart Huskies (14th seed) winning 2-0 in a well played game by goalie Nolan Lalonde and the rest of the Crusaders. Next up were the 2nd seeded Medway Cowboys, in a hard fought back and forth game the boys fell 2-0. After a strong showing on Day 1 the boys were confident and looking to crack a spot in the quarter finals. The boys versed Cobourg Collegiate the 11th seed to finish out the round robin; after a slow start the boys were down 2-1 going into the 3rd but after an inspiring speech by Coach White the boys came out playing there best period of the season scoring 3 unanswered goals winning 4-2. The Crusaders moved on to the quarter finals facing a talented Lawrence Park CI Panthers team; even after tremendous play the Crusaders unfortunately came up short losing 4-2 resulting in the end of there season.

2018 OFSAA Silver Medalists β
.
Season Summary:
For the first time in Holy Cross senior boyβs history, the boys returned home with OFSAA silver hockey medals in the 2018 Boys AAA hockey championships. During the round robin, the Crusader boys finished 1-1-1 advancing to the quarter finals. In the quarterfinals, our crusader boys dominated against Grand River, winning with 6 goals by Jacob Jefferies, Matt Sager, Tyson Fletcher, Aidan Johnson and Jarryd Herron. During the semifinal game, HC beat 3rd seed Holy trinity 3-2. Jarryd Herron opened the scoring in the first 42 seconds of the game, followed by Aidan Johnson and Jackson Hay. In the OFSAA championship game the boys lost 3-1, to the 1st seed Brooklin Bears. Evan Jamieson scored for the crusaders and Andrew Lumb was outstanding in goal. Congratulations to Mr. Clarke, Mr. White, Mr. Switzer and the Crusader boys for a successful and memorable hockey season for 2018.
The boys went 8-3 this year in KASSAA play, going 6-2 in the regular season, then 2-1 in playoffs; losing in the finals to Lasalle. Playing hard all year, the boys ultimately went to shootout four times (Regi, Frontenac, Frontenac, Napanee) and went a perfect 4-0. At the end of the regular season, there was a 3-way tie between HC, Regi, and Lasalle; due to tiebreaker regulations, HC finished in 4th place. The boys werent phased as they beat frontenac 4-3 in a shootout, going down to Frontenac's 5th shooter. Following a hard fought win, they beat the odds, winning 4-3 against 1st seeded Napanee District and bringing them to the Kassa Finals for the 8th time in 9 years. Unfortunately the boys were unable to knock off the Lasalle Black Knights, losing 4-1 after a back and forth game of chances. Their season wasn't over however, since they played a AA team in the finals, they clinched their 8th OFSAA berth in the past 10 years, and head to Missisauga March 20th. The boys competed well in all three games, unfortunately losing them all in nailbiter fashion. Losing to the first seeded team, as well as the team that won antique bronze. β

Season Summaryβ
The 1990-91 Season was an exciting season for the Holy Cross Crusaders. The team played a total of 15 games, winning 11 of them. The green and silver machine defeated all opponents in the Hawksbury tournament to bring home the championship. The boys played well in the 2nd Annual Holy Cross Tournament but were outscored 22-4 in the finals by St Matthews of Ottawa. The second season saw 4 new teams enter E.O.S.S.A with the hope of official sanctioning with a team representative in OFSAA for next year. The most valuable player of the season was John Grennan, while the rookie honours went to Adam Driscoe. The team represented the school well and displayed to the public and other coaches that there is a place for competitive hockey in the school intercollegiate structure.
