Season Summary It was a hard fought and challenging year due to the new COVID protocols, so the team had to start their season later than expected. After a slow start to the season, the team fought hard to win against FSS 21-14 in order to secure a playoff spot. Unfortunately, their season came to an end after a loss against a great team in LSS with a final score of 17-14.

Season Summary: The Crusaders had a strong season winning the Kassa Championship. They started the year strong with 5 wins before taking their first loss against Sydenham in a close contest. The team bounced back strong after this game winning their quarter final and semi final games. In the finals rematch against Sydenham they pulled off the upset in an exciting 32-29 game to secure their first Kassa championship in 4 years.

Season Summary: The Holy Cross Crusader Jr Football team finished the regular season strong, winning their final 3 games to post a 4-2 regular season record. They had a strong quarter final performance in defeating LaSalle 28-0. Unfortunately they fell short in the semi finals vs a strong Regi team and lost a very close game, as Regi scored with under 5 minuities left in the game to take the victory. The team will return many players next year in hopes of making it back to the finals.
2016 Season Summary:
The season for the Jr. Boys football team although not ideal was a great learning experience. Rule changes forced Coach Hunter to change the way he plays as the normal 4 down football was switched to 3. Even though the season was not what the team was looking for several highlights were still seen. An incredible one-handed catch by wide receiver Liam Silverson was one of many plays made by this offence. Special teams also had a stellar play with the "freight train freaks" scoring a touchdown. Defense was highlighted with a play that almost saved their final game. The Jr. Boys were down by five with a strong drive by first seed Sydenham occurring. At the forty yard line, with only a minute left, a time out was called. The very next play a massive hit laid on the halfback, causing a fumble in which they recovered. The boys look to bounce back next season with several up and comers.
