The 2019 Crusaders ultimate frisbee team went undefeated at the first annual KASSAA tournament. Coached by Mr. Sicoli and Ms. Check the duo lead the squad to complete domination in the windy, rainy weather. A day highlighted by short precise throws, the team marched all the way to the final taking out KCVI, Ernestown, Sydenham and Frontenac while doing so. Facing a very strong Nappanee team, the Crusaders narrowly pulled off the 2-1 win in extreme conditions charging down the field on the last possession of the game to score the winning touchdown. Great job everyone! The team advanced to EOSAA the following week. The day started off with a convincing 10-2 victory however the team faced a smart physical team in the quarterfinal which resulted in their first and only loss of the season. Overall, the team finished the season with a remarkable 10-1 record.
