Autism Ontario 

Autism Ontario is dedicated to increasing public awareness about autism and the day-to-day issues faced by individuals with autism, their families, and the professionals with whom they interact. The association and its chapters share common goals of providing information and education, supporting research, and advocating for programs and services for the autism community. 


Down Syndrome Association of Kingston

The Down Syndrome Association of Kingston, is a non-profit charitable organization  and community support group for persons with Down Syndrome and their parents, guardians, relatives and care workers. 


Easter Seals Ontario

Easter Seals Ontario provides responsive, high-quality, community-based addiction and mental health services that empower the people it serves to be well and achieve their full potential. 


Kids Help Phone 

The Kids Help Phone's live chat counselling lets you connect one-on-one, in real time, with a Kids Help Phone counsellor, on the web or from a smartphone.


Kids Inclusive

KidsInclusive, formerly known as the Child Development Centre, is located at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Kingston, Ontario and is one of 21 Children’s Treatment Centres in Ontario. For over 40 years KidsInclusive has provided rehabilitation and support services for children and youth with physical, neurological and/or developmental challenges in the Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington counties as well as communities in Lanark, Leeds and Grenville counties.  


Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario Kingston 

LDAK is a charitable volunteer support group in Kingston, Ontario for people with learning disabilities, their families, and those who work with or employ persons with learning disabilities. They provide information, support and resources for interested community members. 

 

Maltby Centre 

The Maltby Centre is the lead Agency for Moving on Mental Health in KFL&A and the Lead Agency for the Ontario Autism Program in the Southeast Region of Ontario. 


Pathways to Education 

Pathways to Education helps youth in low-income communities to graduate from high school and successfully transition onto post-secondary education, training, or employment. Pathways addresses systemic barriers to education by providing leadership, expertise, and a community-based program proven to lower dropout rates. 


Regional Assessment Resource Centre- Queen's University 

Regional Assessment and Resource Centre (RARC) provides appropriate, accurate, comprehensive and effective assessment services and follow up services to the Queen's University student population and to persons with specific learning disabilities in the south-eastern region of Ontario. 

 

Student Accessibility Office- St. Lawrence College

SLC AccessAbility Services support students with disabilities and faculty in a collaborative and encouraging manner. Students with temporary or permanent disabilities or functional limitations can access individually designed supports, personal counseling and accommodations to meet their academic and placement needs. SLC's goal is to address the attitudinal, informational, communication, technological ,organizational, and physical barriers that can hinder the success of students with disabilities as they strive to achieve their educational, personal and career goals.
