The annual musical is one of the biggest and most popular extra-curriculars our school has to offer. RND musicals are always well reviewed. Our school is highly regarded as one of the best performing arts schools in Kingston. Past productions include Matilda, Into the Woods, Wizard of Oz, Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins
RND Dance Club
Students have the opportunity to join a competitive or recreational dance team at RND. Students are exposed to a variety of dance styles including contemporary, hip hop, and salsa dancing. Our club performs at various school events such as Gr.8 Night and school assemblies.
Wellness Team
It is a team that focuses on overall Wellness for the students of RND through education, school wide activities and workshops.  We work in collaboration with the Public Health Unit and Queens Clincal Psychology team.

SGIC
(Sexuality Gender Inclusivity Club)

With the support of our Youth Workers, Chaplin and teachers,  students who identify as LGBTQ have the chance to gather on a regular basis to have fun and to support one another. Individuals in the Club are given the opportunity to talk about issues that are important to them and if they feel moved to action they are supported in working towards creating a more aware and inclusive school/community/world that is welcoming and accepting of all students and staff regardless of how they identify themselves with regard to their gender or sexuality.
RND Math Club
RND Math club is a fun and competitive activity that any student can participate in. It provides enrichment to students to develop intuitive thinking skills and learn new types of math. Students will not only learn advanced skills but will apply their previous knowledge from school to fun and challenging problems. Furthermore, they will learn to view math not as a set of rules or guidelines, but as an art of problem solving.  Besides the academic benefits, math club is also a great way to meet new people of similar interests and develop teamwork skills.  Our mathletes develop leadership skills, visit university campuses and science centers, and explore new career options opened by their love for math.
RND Improv Team
The RND Improv team involves students from grade 9-12. The season runs through most of the year, culminating in the regional Improv tournament where we compete against other regional high schools as part of the Canadian Improv Games. We rehearse regularly and perform for the school on Improv Fridays.  Typically, RND runs three teams: senior competitive, junior competitive and non competitive- so there is something for everyone! We welcome new members at the end of September, when we hold auditions. Check us out on instagram: regi.improv
E-Sports Club
The E-Sports Club competes in online video game competitions with more than just bragging rights on the line.  The group meets weekly to practice and strategize in games such as League of Legends, Rocket League, FIFA & Madden’s football.   Club members are divided into teams which compete online against schools from all over North America.   Successful teams have a chance to win thousands of dollars in scholarship money.
Ultimate Frisbee
Is a non-contact, self-refereed team sport played with a flying disc frisbee. The aim of the game-Two teams of seven players compete on a playing field about the same length as a football field, but narrower. ... They score a point if one of their players catches the disc in the opposite end zone.
"The Descendants"
Indigenous Student and Culture Group

There are students and staff at RND who identify (officially or unofficially) with their heritage as First Nations, Inuit or Metis people. This is a group that takes it's direction from students who self-identify as FNIM, but it is supported by the school staff (Chaplaincy, Teachers, EA's) and school board to be able to provide a welcoming and safe place that can also provide interesting and educational opportunities to learn more about and share more about Indigenous culture and people. In a normal school year we try to meet at least monthly for food and fun throughout the year.
Eco-Schools Team
RND is a Gold certified eco-school. As such there are many things to continue improving to reduce our school's environmental footprint and to educate our community on how they can make a difference. Waste and energy audits are conducted at least twice throughout the year, school ground greening and educational activities are also ongoing. This student lead group is supported by Chaplaincy and other interested staff and administration.
FIAT
(Faith in Action Team)

Fiat is Latin for "Yes!" It's an affirmation that we at RND can make a difference! FIAT team members do not have to identify with a faith tradition. At RND faith is at the core of why we are here - to bring the Good News to the world. That often means paying attention to those who are most in need: The poor, the hungry, the homeless, the abused, the refugee, the person who is a minority and more. It also means learning about the issues that contribute to injustice and fundraising for justice and charity initiatives throughout the year, especially at Thanksgiving, Advent and Lent.  The group tries to meet weekly during a normal school year in the Chaplaincy centre.
Choir
The Choir meets during lunch in the chapel to sing together and prepare some songs that can be shared with the whole community at our monthly masses and liturgies. Sometimes there are clubs that meet after school to sing and appreciate musical theatre. This is in addition to the hours of work that goes into preparing for the musical or other musical events in the course of the school year.
French Club
The French Club aims to promote enthusiasm for the French language and francophone cultures through activities, projects, discussions and much more.  Some of the French activities which will happen once every two weeks are; French cooking lessons, French movies, French music, Karaoke contest, board games, French art and crafts, French books.  The French Club is open to all students from all levels.  The club will meet twice a month
Robotics Club
The Robotics Club is a student led club that designs and builds robots using VEX components
Chess Club
The Regiopolis-Notre Dame Chess club has been running for years and meets each lunch hour in room 114.  All players, both novice and expert are welcome from all grades.  The focus is strictly fun.  Bring a friend or meet a friend.  Don't know how to play but want to learn?  Come check us out.  We also run a couple of chess tournaments throughout the school year with our Christmas Classic a popular favorite.  Remember the old Italian proverb: "At the end of the game, both the king and pawn go back in the same box."
Art Club
This club is composed of students who are passionate about art and excited to create.   The club meets weekly to create art projects together, share ideas and have fun learning new art styles.  Weekly activities and projects are planned based on club member's interests.  The club assists with school art department events and has many excursions planned for the future!  All grades and skill levels are welcome.
Culture Club
The mission of this club is to provide opportunities to experience cultural diversity through various in and out school activities (food, language, traditions and more). A particular focus in the planning of these activities is to support our English learner students in our school community.
Anime Club
Anime Club - This is fondly known as an "Uncommon Interest Group"! There are a small but passionate group of students who usually gather weekly with old and new friends to share their passion for Anime movies, shows, Cosplay, Manga and more. There is usually a pot-luck lunch at the end of the semester/year.
Senior Concert Band
The RND Senior Concert Band is a wind ensemble for music students in grades 10-12. Admission to the senior band is by audition in the first week of September. The Senior Band rehearses once a week on Mondays from 2:45-4:00 in the music room. The band performs many times at RND including the fall concert in November, school masses all throughout the year, and the Broadway Gala in May. Every year they travel to locations in Canada or the United States to perform and compete at music festivals. The most recent locations for the band trip include San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, Halifax, and even London England!
Junior Band
The Junior Band is a wind ensemble for music students in grades 9 and 10. There are no auditions for the junior band, however a basic knowledge of performance on the instrument is required. The Junior Band rehearses once a week on Thursdays at lunch (11:30-11:55). The band performs at the fall concert in November and competes in the Kington Kiwanis Musical Festival in April. Golden Panthers Fitness Club
Students that join Golden Panthers Fitness will be part of a team that will help improve their physical and mental wellbeing and will have a voice to improve the needs of our weight room and will take ownership in helping to maintain a positive environment. Members will learn about a variety of fitness programs within our community such as crossfit, personal training, powerlifting, pilates and etc. You cannot have a positive experience in the weight room or classroom if you’re not taking care of yourself, so members will learn about healthy living which means a chance to learn a few recipes and other healthy habits along the way.
Mental Health Ambassadors
The Mental Health Ambassadors contribute to the conversation about mental health and wellness, essentially being advocates for, promoters of, and educators on being good to ourselves and our fellow human beings.  The Ambassadors not only lift spirits through various activities but also remind students that their mental health and wellness are of great importance as is forging connections within our community and affecting positive change.
