Each year on Remembrance Day, our school comes together to be thankful and to reflect upon the sacrifices that others have made on our behalf so that we may live as we do today in the wonderful country that we have.
This year, we couldn't gather as a whole school community in our gym, although we were able to have a meaningful gathering virtually. Mr. Griffin's Gr. 6 class took on the task of organizing and leading our Remembrance Day Ceremony virtually from their classroom, which was recorded live and shared with the other classrooms in the school.
In a typical year, we have many parents, including many families who have parents or grandparents who serve in the military, who are able to join us in person for our Remembrance Day Ceremony. Because families were not able to join us in person this year, we wanted to share our virtual ceremony with you at home. Below is a secure link to our video.

(Please note that the video freezes for several minutes near the 19-minute mark, but the audio continues as usual. The video resumes just past the 23-minute mark.)
Thank you to Mr. Griffin's class for your meaningful thoughts and for sharing with us. We hope you enjoy our ceremony.
