On Friday, September 6th, our school was fortunate to have 10 students from Sakurano Seibo College in Japan visit us again. Sakurano Seibo is an all-girls school who are also affiliated with our school's patron saint, St. Marguerite Bourgeoys. Each year, they visit our school to learn more about daily school life in Kingston and to share some of their hometown culture with us. This year, the group worked with Ms. Cambell/Ms. MacLaren's Kindergarten class and Ms. Lollar's Gr. 4 class. Some of the activities included origami, picture stories, ball toss, face-making, and song. Thanks to our Special Events Choir for sharing our rendition of "St. Marguerite, We Love You" with our visitors.
