About the speakers: Steve Keller, program developer and national speaker for Drug Free Kids Canada, unveils the realities of the overdose crisis in sessions one and two. Equipped with a Bachelor of Education from Trent University, Steve's dynamic approach bridges research insights with real-world experiences, empowering audiences nationwide.
In sessions three and four, Joe Wedlock, an authority in education and prevention, explores gaming, gambling, and media literacy. Drawing from his expertise with the YMCA's Youth Gambling Awareness Program and his background in Sociology and Communications from the University of Ottawa, Joe brings clarity to the evolving landscape of technology and its impact on youth gambling behaviors.
