Catholic Education Week will be celebrated across the province during the week of April 30 - May 5, 2023. This year’s theme of Catholic Education Week is We are Many, We are One. The spiritual quote for Catholic Education Week 2023 is “We, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members, one of another.” (Romans 12:5)
When celebrating Catholic Education Week activities over social media, schools are encouraged to use the following hashtags:

Twitter Challenge - Highlight your Prayer Tables and Chapels!
This year, the Twitter challenges invite students and staff to share their prayer tables. Suggestions for tweets include pictures of prayer tables and highlighting the different ways that prayer tables are being used. Secondary schools are invited to also highlight their chapels and how they are used!

Catholic Education Week Awards Luncheon
Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board Office

Catholic Education Week Awards will be recognized, and a luncheon will take place at the Board office, Award recipients and special guests by invitation.
At the conclusion of the awards luncheon, an interactive poster will be released to celebrate the Catholic Education Week award recipients. The poster will include a description of the awards, the names, sites, and photos of the award recipients, and a link to a detailed description of the recipients’ contributions to the system. Please share the poster widely, once it becomes available.
LIVESTREAMED EVENTS:
Please note that the Catholic Education Week Mass and the Josh Blakesley Band Praise and Worship session (via Witness Faith Day East) will be livestreamed so that everyone in the system may participate.
